Roche Cobas Mira Classic

The Roche Cobas Mira Classic is a benchtop, random access analyzer. The Roche Cobas Mira Classic enables physicians to recieve test results quickly! The Roche Cobas Mira line of random access chemistry analyzer offers reliability with excellent features using the latest technological advances.

The Roche Cobas Mira Classic allows for the selective analysis of chemistires in either a Routine or State mode. Testing sequence is by patient rather than test (batch). The DENS/Quality Control program offers the ability to calculate and store nonlinear standard curves for therapeutic drug and serum protein assays, as well as store the cumulative quality control statistics for all chemistires. The optional ISE Module for sodium and potassium determinations expand the capabilities of the instrument. The Cobas Mira offers random access instrrumentation at an affordable price.

The advantages of random access are many. First, it is ideal in the laboratory situation where patient samples arrive throughout the day and night. With random access instrumentation these samples may be placed on the analyzer and results will be available within minutes. With random access, samples do not have to be saved for a major run as with batch analyzers.

Roche Cobas Mira General Description

The water and waste containers are connected at the back of the analyzer. The left side of the instrument has a rovotic transfer arm for sample and reagent pipetting. beneath the transfer arm is the rack platform holding removable reagent and sample reacks. The robotic transfer arm dispenses reagent and sample into the cuettes located in the analyzer on the right side of the instrument. Across the top of the instrument is the control panel.
